Is just having a LinkedIn profile enough for employers to contact you?
As a part of your successful job search strategy, your profile MUST be COMPLETE and OPTIMISED.
If your profile is not matching the role you want, the chances are that you will not appear in recruiters' candidate searches.
So, what should you do?
🟢 Revise or set your "Open to work" feature - be very targeted and specific with the job titles you want, locations,
🟢 Make your profile photo and other sections publicly visible (Edit Visibility settings)
🟢 Write a strategic LinkedIn Headline
🟢 Choose always the job titles from the drop-down list LinkedIn is offering you
🟢 Add all 50 skills and make sure the top 3 are the most relevant for your current job search
🟢 Start following the company before you apply
Employers will search you up on LinkedIn (and other social media) before reaching out to you, there's no doubt.
So, why don't you make your profile a powerful job search tool, then?
You'll certainly increase your chances of finding a new job faster.
If you are not quite tech-savvy and LinkedIn profile optimisation is not your thing, ask for professional assistance with this.
Go for people who have experience with this and whose profiles are walking the talk. 🙂
Work smarter, not harder. 🍀
P.S. On average, my clients' profile visibility and profile views increase by 50% just 7 days after our coaching ends (photo below). Don't underestimate the power of this platform.
